* If you have important things to do at home or at the office, you can do them since online dating websites do not require members to be always online.

* In short, they offer convenience for you during the time you are busy doing other tasks unlike a real date where you have to stop other things to go out on a date

* Most people have a personal computer so no additional cost is required to get a computer to use for the online dating websites.

* Using online dating websites one can be more selective in who they want to meet compared to the traditional method of dating.
